Bentley Mulsanne Key Celebrates Its Centenary

Bentley's custom coachbuilding division, Mulliner, has designed a unique keycase to celebrate the brand's centenary. It is constructed of Dark Stained Burr Walnut with Piano Black Veneer and includes the flying "B" paperweight keys, as well as an album of never-before-seen 1930s 8 Litre images.

It's the perfect gift to greet a new owner of their opulent vehicle.

Aesthetics

Bentley is a company that takes its aesthetics very seriously. It is evident in the precise location of its quilting the selection of leather from by-products of cattle, the wood from sustainably managed forests and the ingenious patterns that are etched on its levers. When you drive by a car like the Continental GT W12, its beautiful sculptural design is highlighted by carefully curated lighting.

The Continental GT is Bentley's most sophisticated open-top car. Its rear tonneau for example, showcased the biggest piece of dark-stained, book-matched Burr Walnut veneer ever applied to the production Bentley. Similarly, the electrically-operated glass sunroof and champagne cooler that incorporated hand-blown and hand-cut lead crystal bottles marked a new benchmark in luxury and innovation.

Bentley is the most sought-after brand in the automotive industry worldwide due to its bespoke design and craftsmanship. The company continues to push boundaries with the latest technologies and craftsmanship. This includes the introduction of an electronic tilt-opening rear window sunroof, as well as a custom-designed Apple iPad docking station.

Bentley celebrated its 100th anniversary in the year 2019 100 years after the marque was founded. The marque, currently owned by Volkswagen independently following years of conflict with BMW, had planned a series of special events and launches to commemorate this milestone. Before pandemic planning took the center stage, the company had a range of special events and launches planned to commemorate this milestone event.

Design

Bentley is a luxury car maker that makes ostentatious and luxurious cars. But even keys stand out.  bentley smart key  is made from sterling silver. It has an enormous 'B' design that lets everyone know you're driving a Bentley. The key is also decorated with the years 1919 and 2019 to commemorate the company's centennial.

The Mulsanne was revamped and redesigned by Bentley Mulliner, to be the ultimate Grand Touring car. The rear seats are designed to provide passengers with the most comfortable and private experience. They were inspired by the luxurious private aircraft. The custom heating, ventilation, and air conditioning system was developed to provide each passenger with the perfect climate control setting.

Alongside a series of exquisitely executed styling tweaks The Mulsanne is powered by a twin-turbocharged 6.75-litre W12 engine that produces 560bhp and 479lb-ft of torque. This colossal power is complemented by a new suspension system that provides Bentley's trademark hushed ride.

In celebration of its Centenary, Bentley introduced a unique specification known as the Centenary Specification for cars that were built in 2019. The cabin features cross-stitching and contrast stitching in Centenary Gold throughout. The Bentley Wings are embroidered with Centenary Gold on the headrests, seats and other areas of the car. This adds to the celebration. A custom Bentley key case is also included in the Centenary Specification, making the Bentley experience all-inclusive.

There is a knob to fold and unfold the mirrors when parked in tight areas. This feature makes it easier to get into and out of your vehicle.

replacement bentley key  is made from vegetable tanned leather. It takes two days to make each one. The key is cut by hand, shaped, stitched and sealed, then polished to create a high-end result. It is strong, compact, and fits the Bentley key perfectly. Its design resembles the Volkswagen Phaeton's big car key, but it feels more substantial and premium.

It is also equipped with Secure-A-Key, which helps prevent theft of keys that are keyless. This device is inserted inside the remote-control key fob. It disables it after a few minutes of inactivity. This prevents thieves from transmitting the key's frequency to other devices that could unlock and start the vehicle.

Bentley's distinctive design is a reflection of the values of the company that include high-quality craftsmanship and engineering expertise as well as modern technology. Its headquarters in Crewe are home to over four hundred employees who are responsible for the development, design, and production of Bentley vehicles. These workers apply the skills that have been handed through generations to the latest automotive technologies. This is the hallmark of British manufacturing at its best.

Personalisation

Bentley's bespoke division, Mulliner, allows customers to create their own car. Guests sit at a series of pictures referred to as "mood stations" and choose a selection of photos - from scenic vistas to sporting events - that are inspiring to them to design their own. Every time a choice is made the pattern that emerges reveals the model, color and style preferences for the bespoke Bentley.

The resulting configuration is stored on individual R.F.I.D.-enabled key cards which are handed out to the guests in a custom key case. The keys can also be outfitted with Bentley Muliner Personalised Welcome Lamps that light up the door's opening path with the owner's name, or emblem when they make their way towards the vehicle.

Bentley says it takes roughly 500 man-hours to design and assemble the average Mulsanne. The inability to adopt new technology is the key to this lengthy and laborious process. The Crewe factory workers don't make use of a machine to create perfectly-matched leather seats. Instead they do it by hand. Instead of letting the car's built-in sensors guide it to perpendicular and parallel parking spaces, drivers have to do it by hand.

Bentley showcased its Mulliner personalization skills with a special Mulsanne W.O. Edition, that pays tribute to William Osler, the founder of Bentley. The Mulsanne W.O. Edition pays homage to the founding father of the brand, William Osler Bentley. The 100 limited-edition cars include the key with a special design that shows a slice of the 1930 8 Litre's crankshaft.
